In the summer of 2007, I turned 40 and decided that I could officially call myself a grown up - so I had better figure out what I wanted to do with my life! I've been busy ever since inventing a life worth living. Read all about my journey here, and I hope you are inspired to invent your own life!

You were really able to capture the beauty of Ethiopia! Oh, how I wish I had my new camera when I went. Oh, how I wish I had paid more attention to the details! I enjoy reliving the beauty through your lens!
Sam is actually from an orphanage named Toukoul and we have several hand embroidered pieces with this precise scene. Toukoul means "little cottage" in french.
