Unplugged
As I mentioned yesterday, I am off for the long holiday weekend to visit some friends in Vermont and help celebrate Baby Chance's first birthday.
I had a couple of ideas for posts to run while I'm away, but Blogger's scheduling feature is not working at the moment and I'm thinking this might be a good time to take a little blogging break. So I can, you know, go out into the world and have some real live interactions with actual human beings. In person, even.
Think of all the good blogging material I'll be able to come back with! I got two good posts out of my last visit to Vermont, and I only stayed overnight!
Anyway, I will still post the weekly reading list but I probably won't get to it until Monday. In the meantime, if you are looking for something to read, you can go back to last year's Fourth of July post, in which I reminisce about fireworks of the past and am thankful that we don't live in those times any more.
For those in the US, have a happy and safe Independence Day!

Have a fabulous weekend, Liz.
Thanks Movie!
Happy Independence Day! =)
Hope you are having a great time. I grew up in NH and went to high school in VT. The last time I visited was 3 or 4 years ago, but it was over the 4th of July too.
You changed your photo! You look lovely Liz.
Have a wonderful fourth and enjoy your blogging break.
Hope you're having a great one! We're hoping to get to go back to Vermont in October. :)
Being unplugged for short periods definetely has it's advantages, and renewing powers!
